MEET YOUR INSTRUCTORS
Pete Stramszky
Hi, I’m Pete, a surf coach with nearly three years of experience and a deep passion for the sport. My surf journey began in 2021 in Portugal where I lived, coached and immersed myself in the local surf culture. I’ve worked as a surf instructor, managed a surf camp, organized surf retreats and even directed a documentary on Hungarian surf culture. Ranked 13th nationally in Hungary, I combine coaching expertise with video analysis, surf theory and skate training to help students excel.
My goal is to create a welcoming, professional environment where surfers of all levels can grow and thrive!
Travis Tunnicliffe (aka Tuna)
Hey, I’m Travis, aka Tuna. I’ve been riding waves my whole life, inspired by my dad who is a passionate soul surfer. Growing up we surfed together daily. By 22 I was teaching my passion for surfing in Maui. At 33 I became a full-time surf instructor and photographer, blending my love for the ocean with helping others. After falling for a Colombian surf photographer we took our skills to Zanzibar in Africa and later tied the knot.
Now, at Casa del Golfo in El Salvador, my mission is to connect people to the ocean, keep them safe and ensure they have an unforgettable time catching waves!
